Fairhaven prides itself on breeding correct, beautiful horses which are both athletic and even tempered.  All our stock is handled extensively, imprinted from birth.  Foals are bathed, saddled and bitted, halter broke, trailered, using gentle, Natural Horsemanship techniques. You will not find a nicer, more well behaved horse anywhere!! They are willing to work, love and trust people, and are respectful and obedient, even when handled by small children.  Our breeding program has at its foundation quality, conformationally correct, and extremely wellbred Morgan mares. We then carefully shop for suitable studs which will complement our mares attributes.  I myself feel that size is a quality which is frequently lacking in the Morgan breed, so it is something I take into consideration.  All stallions must have sensible, even temperaments.

We sell our stock only to approved homes (vet and farrier references required). Our sales contract also includes a 30 day money back guarantee period, and stipulates Fairhaven to have first opportunity to buy back from purchaser any horse we may sell. I do not ever want to learn one of my babies has ended up on the auction block!

POPLAR BON BON – 1988 Morgan mare, 15 h, my best friend at the farm, with incredible movement and versatility for any discipline. BonBon is the most athletic, willing horse I have ever had the pleasure to ride. Gorgeous, typey, extremely wellbred. She also has an incredibly sweet disposition, and I truly believe she loves her humans, especially my daughters, as much as if they were really hers.  BonBon will be bred to Caduceus Joshua for 2007, the foal may be available for purchase.

FF ARIEL – 2003 Moriesian mare, by GALAND (Friesian), out of Poplar BonBon.  Ariel is gorgeous, a powerful mover, with lots of bone, but light and responsive to ride.  16 h and growing. Her temperament is unforgettable, she is a lover, a comedian, and a great friend. She is surprisingly bold and brave for her age, and is already an outstanding trail horse. PROMISE ME BERRIES – 1991 Morgan mare, Funquest and UVM Promise bred.  Lots of body with a lovely head. 15.2 ½, surprisingly beautiful mover despite her bad knee.  Malina is sweet and kind to everyone, but especially tender to my daughter Katya – they are soulmates.

VANITYS FOREVER BEAUTY – 1994 Saddlebred mare, Wing Commander bloodlines. Gorgeous mare with a swan neck, 15.3, elegant smooth mover. Very sensible to ride and handle, sweet temper, Tilly was even used in a handicap riding program. Tilly is bred to a buckskin Andalusian for 2008, inquiries welcome.
